GEP will provide your equine friend and companion a good home where horses are well maintained and respected. All horses are given the love and care we know you gave and want to be continued. At the same time your precious gift would be providing a child with their equestrian dream and endless program benefits. Owners are compensated by way of a tax deduction. In addition to the donation of horses, GEP can accept new or used riding apparel and equipment (only new hard hats). We are also delighted to accept bridles, girths or saddles.

Volunteer
GEP offers unique volunteer opportunities for people with or without prior horse knowledge. Enjoy our rural horse farm in Lumberton, NJ while helping shape the lives of children at risk.

Equestrian Assistants – Caring people, college age and above, who have prior horse knowledge and are interested in assisting our Program Coordinator with supervising the members. Volunteer shifts are flexible and can accommodate your schedule. Most shifts are either after school or on the weekends.

Academic Tutors – Educated individuals with prior academic skills to help tutor our members who are struggling academically. This is a great volunteer effort for retired teachers, college students, or others who fit the qualifications. Volunteer shifts are flexible and can accommodate your schedule. Most shifts are either after school or on the weekends.
